Hegemi supports a fleet management use-case, where you build instances of an item, then operate them in-house, fixing issues that arise along the way. Such an operator gets functionality to manage the life of an instance after it's built:
- Ability to notify others (e.g. repair technician) when a part on an instance has an issue
- A natural place to record instance data during its lifetime (firmware updates, notes, etc), local to the individual parts
- Tracked history of component sharing between instances (e.g. swapping a motor subassembly from one instance to another)
Repair technicians get:
